The 23rd Citadelles du Vin edition will be held from 11 to 13 March 2023 in Bourg near Bordeaux. The international wine-tasting competition has decided to set its sights on Latin America, with Argentina in the spotlight.
In particular, it will be highlighting the continent’s impressive mosaic of wine-growing terroirs. A masterclass on the expression of the bonarda grape variety in Argentinian wines will be given by Santiago L’Huillier, head of the import company “LA SÉLECTION DE L’ÉTRANGER”. And it will be up to a representative of Sommeliers International magazine and the sommeliers present at the competition to award the Special Prize to the Argentinian that has received all their votes following a tasting of the competition’s Grand Gold and Gold medallists in the category.
